So I have had lots of compliments on the new blog look and only 1 complaint, which came from my sister. She says there is not enough photos of Benjamin. So, Marisa, this is for you!

Mr. Independent

Here's the scene. Flint is in his room. He's supposed to be napping, but he is finding anything and everything else to do but nap. Pulling out toys, throwing socks over the gate at his door, drinking milk, playing with his Elmo lunch box and the heart shaped balloon YaYa gave him for Valentine's. And then, I hear this meek, "Help, Mama!"

I have just laid Benjamin down for his nap, he is fussing a bit from his crib and I am trying to get as much blogging done as humanly possible before they both are up for the rest of the day. I could barely hear Flint over my furious typing.

Then I hear the sound of the tin lunchbox hitting the floor and I figure I better go look. Below is what I found:

Flint had decided he didn't want to sleep in the pants he had on. So, he took them off and tried to put on some other clothes. He got the shirt part way on, but still had his other shirt on and he had his entire lower body through one pant leg of the shorts. I started laughing so hard and immediately ran for the camera to capture this adorable moment.

Flint got a kick out of posing for the camera. I kept telling him to turn around so I could get the full effect of how his legs were through the pants.

Now for the not-so-funny part. He had also pooped and kept holding out his fingers saying, "Yucky!" He had not only stuck his fingers down his pants but he confessed that he had also wiped the poop off of them and onto his bedroom door! I decided right then, that Mr. Independent is ready for potty training.

Love is in the Air - Part 4

Rebecca is a dear friend of mine, Benjamin's godmother and fellow party guru. The minute she gets done hosting one, she is already planning another. This time it was a Valentine's crafting party for the Moms and Tots!

Perhaps the best part of the day was the fact that I got to see two of my beautiful godchildren!
